Lightning Labs' self-custodial wallet toolkit for apps and agents: no node or channels to run, per-request L402 payments, MCP tools via wavecli mcp serve and receive-only keys
Note: Alpha on mainnet (launched Oct 23, 2026). For now each account holds up to 300,000 sats, and Lightning sends and receives carry a 0.25% service fee plus routing fees. Funds sit on an Ark-like layer with a self-serve exit to the Bitcoin blockchain. [Docs ↗](https://lightning.engineering/posts/2026-10-23-wavelength-mainnet-launch/)
